Barbera D’Asti “Litina” – Cascinacastlet 2004 (Italy) $35 Vibrant red-purple hue with a nice presence of winter fruit with hints of vanilla and long finish. A staff favorite!
Podere Ruggeri Corsini – Corsini Barolo (Italy)– 2003 $60 Classically- styled Barolo. It starts out simply & blossoms nicely of dark berries with time in the glass. It shows a bit of oak & is a nice, lush, medium-bodied wine.
White Orvieto Classico Amabile “Rasenna” - Tenuta la Velette 2005 (Italy) $7 / $24 “Amabile” is an Italian term for “a little sweet”. This wine is made to resemble the Orvieto wines of old. Pinot Grigio - Di Lenardo 2005 (Italy) $7 / $24 Taste is reminiscent of pear syrup and quince peel. Good acid balance good body and long finish.
